Welcome y’all! My name is Kasandra. I’m a Texas country girl through and through, a wife and a mother. My husband is an amazing, hardworking man and together we have two boys that we homeschool.
In the beginning of 2020 we bought our first house and property. We do not know the exact date of our house quite yet, but we do know the house was definitely build prior 1955, which is the date engraved on the well. We also know it was built with old lumber brought over from Mississippi by wagon. We have big plans for this house and a long journey of renovating to bring the old farmhouse charm back.
Over the years together my husband and myself have had horses, a goat (more like a dog), chickens and rabbits, along with many dogs and cats. I grew up all over the great state of Texas, trail riding and camping with my horses. My husband is a native Texan, as well, who was raised around cows, chickens and goats. Together we definitely share a love for the quaint country life.
By now you have little insight into my passion for country life, but I am also very passionate about doing things yourself and on a budget. I am a proud penny pincher! I’m always looking for a cheaper, yet nice, easy way to do things. I might get a small rush when I get a good deal on something and am able to save a little bit of money.
